Seattle Restored Fashion Market2023

I organized the 2023 Seattle Restored Fashion Market, which aimed to raise awareness about Seattle Restored, support local clothing and accessory entrepreneurs, and highlight the diverse creativity within Seattle’s fashion scene. The market catered to fashion enthusiasts, sustainability seekers, and tourists interested in local products. It featured a curated selection of vendors offering unique, sustainable fashion and one-of-a-kind items. Additionally, guests enjoyed delicious food and drinks, enhancing the overall experience. The Seattle Restored Fashion Market was a resounding success with an attendance of over 400 people, bringing together local makers and entrepreneurs, and fostering community connections.

Seattle Restored Spring Market & Art Exhibit2023

I am proud to have led the Seattle Restored Spring Market & Art Exhibit, a heartfelt celebration of Seattle’s local art, craft, and culture. My role involved curating a gathering of 26 Seattle Restored makers, creatives, and artists, all of whom showcased their creativity. The event aimed to support and uplift Seattle’s vibrant local artistic community, offering a diverse array of one-of-a-kind products and artworks. The event was attended by almost 300 people. Complementing this unique shopping experience, attendees had the opportunity to savor delectable food from Garzón, a Latinx street food vendor.

ACES – Artists of Color Expo & Symposium – 2022

ACES // Artists of Color Expo & Symposium is a BIPOC-led, community-curated program featuring art exhibitslive performancespresentationsworkshopsfilm screeningsartist talks, and artist opportunity tables. BIPOC artists come together with intentionality to value their work and see one another as resources, while focusing on the challenges and solutions they face as artists of color in the Pacific Northwest.

I played a key role in the marketing efforts for ACES, which turned out to be a highly successful two-day event. Through collaborative efforts, we managed to attract an attendance of 600 individuals. I am grateful to have secured partnerships with 10 arts and culture organizations, allowing us to co-present programming that featured over 30 talented and diverse artists. Additionally, I had the privilege of recruiting and supervising a dedicated team of 10+ volunteers, whose hard work and commitment greatly contributed to the smooth execution of the event operations.
